![]() Victoria Johnson This report is about preliminary off-shore bathing water quality. It is a study of a surf-specific beach to establish whether all year round sampling should become mandatory in the UK, identifying pollution sources and sampling techniques.
![]() William Hammond This project looks at a business plan for Yacht Management International, which is aimed at the high-end luxury yacht market; this is any vessel over 24 metres in length.
![]() Dustin James An examination of the implications of global warming through extreme weather patterns and general rises in sea levels.
![]() Michelle Hall An investigation on the effects of sediment disturbance upon filter feeders as a result of dredging activity. The waters of the Fal provide many opportunities for watersports. The deep water channel supports fishing and shipping, and this report will look if dredging will effect the ecosystem.
![]() Tim Carter Monitoring distraction and movement of Harbour Porpoisese in the Fal estuary using fixed acoustic devices. The main aim of this project is to monitor the protected species of the Fal and to use a fixed acoustic device to test its efficiency.
![]() Wiiliam Fennell The articulating rudder. This investigation looks at the efficiency of an articulating rudder compared to a standard one. This was achieved by a wind tunnel test and then the results were analysed.
![]() Jamie Clarke. The Ballast Water effect on the River Fal. The purpose of this study is to discover if there are any marine invasive species in the River Fal.
